434: WAITING
I know you've all been waiting and wondering why this blog has slowed down. But I wasn't lazy, just busy (lame excuse, I know). "The future is near" and I'm planing to do a major overhaul of my website and the blog. So hopefully in the next couple of months there will be a new page and a new blog coming.

379: KATHLEEN & OLE ON POLAROID
Kathleen and Ole wanted to make some pictures for christmas. This is one of the "extra" shots.
Taken with the Polaroid 600. Unfortunately with some expired ISO 100 film for my SX70. The Polaroid 600 uses (as the name suggests) ISO 600 film. Therefore figuring out the right flash output is kinda mathematical and a little try and error.

I did some productshots of cocktails for the bar 3 Freunde in Hamburg. I will post the shots tomorrow.
This shot was actually taken with my new Iphone and the app Hipstatic. Quite amazed by the camera and the apps that are out. I know I posted a while back, that I wouldn't use a gadget with too many features cramped into it, but I must admit that up to now (one week) I am quite impressed by the feature set and the reliabilty of that phone. And even using it as a phone works.

I did a covershoot for Queen Sy & Wiz, a Rap Duo based here in Hamburg. Of course I had to do a less serious shot. The rapgame does not have to be all serious and tough.

Another shot from my weekend with the Mamiya 645 AFD and the Leaf Digital Back.
I'm leaning more and more towards portrait work right now. I do love shooting beauty and fashion, but doing some personal portrait work kind of feels "more right" for me the last couple of weeks.
