Since I post a shot everyday, a post wanders of the first page pretty quick. Therefore I repost this second episode of my Dream Vision Life Project once again.
Please be kind to repost this or the first video if you like or agree with the project. Thanks. www.ISMONO.com/DVL
Another shot from my trip to Berlin. I'm quite in a travelling mood. In a couple of weeks I'm going to visit Barcelona again. Refueling creativity I guess.
Oliver is the owner and one of the cooks of the Tati. He definitely can be happy, it was very delicious and in my opinion has been quite a success. Thanks for the dinner.
It's three o'clock in the morning on a Friday night. I was more in the mood to work and let creativity strike me. And I remembered a quote: "People aren't going to remember the things you do, people remember how you made them feel." I just can't recall where I read that quote, but I wanted to share this thought... Comment or more Info? Click me.
Last week I helped out my friends from the restaurant Tati. They held a dinner at Boom Boom. Boom Boom is a location where a local hip hop act is working on his new album as well as holding some events i.e. this dinner. And his name is actually the same as mine.
Thirty people were invited. Here they are preparing everything. Some more pics coming up. I really can recommend this restaurant in the Bellealliancestr. in Hamburg.
You know I want to promote my Dream Vision Life Project, therefore the next new shot will be posted on Thursday, so that you can enjoy the video on top of the blog until then...Enjoy.
This is the second video of my Dream Vision Life Project. Sarah Metberg is a very good friend of mine. We know each other for quite a long time, and we supported each other through out our occupational career since the beginning.
Sarah is a singer, dancer, actress and choreographer. Moreover she helps and supports kids who live in lower income areas by giving free seminars at their schools.
The next interview will be with Miss Leema. It will be online in two to three weeks. So stay tuned.
And as I said yesterday. If you like the project then please don't hesitate to promote and support the project by posting the videos or a link on your page, facebook or blog. Thanks.
Well no new shot today. I finished the next video with Sarah Matberg and I need to refine it just a little bit. I will post the new video of my "Dream Vision Life" Project tomorrow. And since Julian was spinning this night and I just want to promote the project a little further, I post this video again.
And if you like the project and it's idea, then please don't hesitate to post the video, a link to the page or whatever on your page, facebook or blog. Feedback or thoughts are welcomed as well.
For mor info go to ISMONO.com/DVL. These videos are just teasers and just a small part of the final documentary movie.
As you might remember I my hostparents from USA visited me last week. I showed them Hamburg, but Berlin as well. So the next few days I'll show you some impressions of my hometown and of the capital of Germany.
I showed you a Behind-the-Scenes picture of this beautyshot a couple of days ago. I saw this make up somewhere else, so we can't really get credit for the idea. I wanted to do a beauty shot with Julia and decided just to copy that idea. I think Moni (the make up artist) did quite a good job and Julia was fun to work with.
Talking about the staates, here is another shot from my trip to LA. I really want to visit the staates again. New York is going to be my next trip, I guess.
Ten years ago I did a highschool year in the staates. And now my hostparents are visiting Hamburg. We're doing a couple of typical tourist tours in Hamburg. Most of the time you take your hometown for granted and forget or just don't realize stuff. So doing those tours is quite refreshing for me.
This is a Behind the scenes shot of the shooting with Julia. Moni was the Make up Artist this time. Shots are still in postproduction and will be ready in the next couple of days.
The very first video of my "Dream, Vision, Life" Project.
Julian Smith is a DJ, Musician and Club Owner based in Frankfurt / Germany. You might remember him from the shooting I did with him.
Go to ISMONO.com/DVL to find out more about him and this project. These videos are just teasers and just a small part of the final documentary movie.
Comments are quite welcome. Enjoy...
P.S.: I need to apologize, the focus isn't quite on point most of the time. But this project is a one man show, and I was more paying attention to the interview rather than to the camera.
And since this is a video and I want it to be a little longer on the top of this page, the next shot will be posted the day after tomorrow.
Two friends of me have a catering service called Pacific Cuisine. They really have some great stuff on their menu. Did a couple of quick shots for their website, which is still in the making. But check out their facebook page.
Finally back with daily shots. Last week I helped my brother to make some headshots of the graduating class 2010. I shot 42 students in 4 hours. It was quite a task and I'm not going to show you all of the shots, but we did this composite of all the students for their yearbook.
