All these pictures are still on Bali, and we moved on to the next hotel in Sanur. There's definitely a story or something to tell to these pictures, but I'm too lazy right now and I rather go to the pool. ;-)

We're in Bali, but all you get are just some impressions of Jakarta

Yes, we're on Bali. Second day getting a massage and chilling at the pool in a nice hotel, which was a little hard to find, since we decided to look for a place on the fly. Which meant that after a one and a half hour long search for a hotel we found the Harmony Hotel in Seminyak, which is definitely very nice and worth mentioning.

I haven't made a lot of pictures here in Bali yet, therefore here are just a couple of impressions of Jakarta.

Big Cities and thrashed headphones

First post and the very first day in Jakarta has past. One day after two bomb attacks in two hotels.

I've been quite a lot in Jakarta as a kid, but never really realized how unbelievable big this town is and how many peopla can actually live in just one city. Although that's probably the reason why we waited one hour for a taxi on the airport.

Allright not much has happend yet, so here just a couple of impressions of the tour to our hotel. Enjoy...

Kept myself entertained on the plane, but their headphones kept breaking by themself every 1 1/2 hours. Emirates are quite a nice airline company, but their headphones suck...

Last Post from Germany

Bags are packed, everything is prepared, got my giant passport...all set. Tomorrow I'm boarding a plane to Indonesia. Since that will be a vacation with a little touch of a photographic journey, I'll keep posting stuff on this blog while I'm in Indonesia. So keep visiting this site and post some comments as well ;-)

Something completely different: Tonight is the premiere screening of a short movie I edited a while back in the Zeise Kinos in Altona. "The little Matchseller" is going to be online on my site in August when I'm back.
